Transport Committee decides to extend toll exemption for natural gas HGVs
Law expected to be submitted to the Bundesrat in June

The Committee on Transport and Digital Infrastructure decides to extend the toll exemption for natural gas HGVs until 31 December 2023. CNG and LNG vehicles will be exempt from the toll for a further three years. The bill will be debated in the German Bundestag over the course of next week and is expected to be presented to the Bundesrat in June.
We are pleased about this further important step on the way to climate-friendly heavy goods transport.
